ABOUT
'Marginalia' is a growing collection of even & odd musical sketches and sidenotes done ars gratia artis, for art's sake. Each often recorded in the moment and left to mature into a fully grown possibility of itself, provided it chooses to hatch at a later time, but left as a seed with merely a couple of stems.

Here, I gather seven sketches for the curious of my experimentations.

Varying in atmosphere, instrumentation and compositional approach, this set sees my going back to Genial Spirits (002) with marimba-driven dialogues between 3rd and 4th octave. Giving a gothic "I and I" a go (003). Exploring moody looped minimalist patterns of repetition on piano (004, 005). Doing my cutest track to date (005). Returning to the Surreal roots with grooves, shedding light at the unconscious dark (006). And even including a post-MortBones experimentation (007), an odd trick that plays with the sense of time in the context of what is known to the artist and to the public, as I have been living MortBones deeply for a few months now but shared merely a handful of songs with only closest of friends. Plus, the track no. 008: in its fake nature, slightly too obvious and mysterious to write about.
